Chapter 9
A Special Grace
( the beginning )
For the remaining few months of the tribulation a special kind of grace came
over the two hidden warriors. They had no way of knowing the specifics of
the last great battle and the final hours of Babylon.
( They were amazed when
later they saw that the evil city had been
swallowed by an aftershock of the final earthquake -
the most devastating quake
the Earth had ever experienced. The devastation was worldwide and
completed the wasting of all the major cities on the planet.
They were astounded to see that the Persian
Gulf was now covering what had been the city of the beast. )
They, of course, had experienced the quake, but had been
miraculously protected during the great leveling of the earth's mountain ranges.
They were spared the severity and intensity
which was fatally visited upon all the Earth's remaining cities.
( Babylon was actually burned to complete its destruction as the final quake
felt by Maria and NuRay only partially wasted the most evil place in history.
After the fire - the aftershock caused Babylon to sink into the
sand and the gulf rushed in to bury it - forever. ) As Isaiah
the ancient prophet had foretold
the Earth was made ready to receive Messiah King Jesus.

Satan
the destroyer,
many headed,
dragon
would soon be chained and
no longer a curse on the planet and
its inhabitants.
He would be bound for 1000 years.
The earth would truly be at peace.

During these last months they spent their days doing 'edenic' things like
picking wild strawberries and raspberries.
The warmth from their now leveled mountain
created an ideal environment for growing large, juicy berries.
The almost perfected vapor canopy
shrouding the earth was contributing mist to their gardenesque hideaway.
Soon the whole planet would be restored - the hidden warriors were
enjoying a foretaste of what would be.
It was as if Jesus were modeling their lives in anticipation of what
HE would create for the rest of the planet during the 1000 years.
The ancient prophecies
were coming to pass on a daily basis. A favorite of Marias was Joel's
which foretold of a day when the soil would celebrate and fear
would cease for the wild animals.
Once in a while, the ground would rumble and sing like a boiling teapot
and spit out a small recrystallized fireball.
Then the super-heated jewel would land in one of the pristinely clear ponds
briefly transforming it into a warm/inviting/soothing spa.
[ Jewels ( once considered priceless ) were plentiful in the area enjoyed by the couple.
Nuray built his house from them - he liked the way the refracted light
filtered through the walls,
it was a prism house of glory light.
Once, on a visit to see Maria's baby, Jesus remarked that HE liked it too.]
When the water would come to a boil -
it was great for cooking bird eggs. They found the grouse egg
especially delicious but were even more fond of the egg of the ptarmigan.
After the water cooled some - a hot bath was a must.
They knew when they left Grand Junction they were only months from
the end. They had knowledge of the timeline communicated in the Bible.
Much of their time was spent studying these scriptures and praying.
Of particular interest was Revelation 18:4. In this verse Jesus
Himself is speaking and giving "His people" an urgent call - one of
special grace to Maria and NuRay:
Revelation 18:4:
and I heard another voice from Heaven, saying, come out
of her ( Babylon ) my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and
that ye receive not of her plagues.
They were grateful that they had made the exodus from Babylon
and had come out of the satanically corrupted stronghold
and had escaped the remainder of the great tribulation.

They knew that one day very soon Jesus would return to begin His reign and they
would be part of a glorious future. They would live in the best years
Earth would know since the original garden and the sinless days enjoyed by
Adam and Eve.
