Before the fall.
Adam made a humming noise when he slept -
the sound was in edenized pitch and harmony.
It sounded like a butterfly song.
Eve liked it.
After the fall.
Adam made a noise like the snort of a wart hog when sleeping.
Eve didn't like the noise so she called it a snort, at first -
then she shortened it to
snor.
That's probably how snore got its name.
The further removed from Eden
Adam became -
the more recurrent his wart hog dream.
When Adam snored
the canines
howled.
Adam always had
excellent rapport
with the animals.
