The blood of the Lamb rules over the darkness and the darkness within the darkness.
Just as the passover lamb conquered the darkness of that time, JESUS CHRIST - the lamb of our salvation - conquers the darkness which is attempting to conquer us.

John 1:29

The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him,

behold the Lamb of God,

who taketh away

the sin of the world.
