At The Feast of Tabernacles, Israel was celebrating their miraculous deliverance from Egypt.
The torch parade was a mighty display of light-a reminder of the pillar of fire in the wilderness.
It was here that we were told that the light of the world is JESUS.
The children of Israel followed the pillar of fire whenever and wherever it led.
In like manner - we follow
JESUS.
