ZigZag - The character T.Head is not too farfetched. In the
50's and 60's the author lived in small mining towns in Arizona.
The county sheriff took money from the local whore houses.
This substantial bribe/payoff system was supported by the mining
authorities and the communities and voters who annually re-elected
the sheriff. The churches in the area apparently thought this
system was o.k.

THE CHURCH of The LOOSE - In the novella T.Head was a member
of this church - just like the churches mentioned in
the above footnote.This early attitude of the sleeping church
has regressed into the liberal churches of today. The churches
that will be left behind will be business
as usual the day following the rapture - probably an increase in
attendance.
A wife of one of the pastors in my mining town (mentioned above)
was involved in numerous and various sexual sins.
A high school classmate of mine was giving me vivid accounts of his
dalliances with perversion with her ( no wonder I did poorly in that class ).
Years later, I read in the newspaper, my old classmate
went to prison for murder.
This church is an example of the sin that still plagues the
church communities today - the church of the loose.
I'm sure you have your own first-hand knowledge of
the church of the loose.
This loose church is to be contrasted with the amazingly productive, Bible
believing,scripture teaching,evident and eternal
CHURCH that will be taken at the rapture. The true CHUCH loves the return of
JESUS and longs for HIS appearing. ( II Timothy 4:8 )

Rude Bullit - Drugs have always been rampant in our cultures -
the list is endless and will continue on ( new types of narcotics
and hallucinogens are introduced daily ). Rude Bullit is not far off.

commentary on The Revelation I have ever had the privilege
of studying. The late doctor Morris was a friend of Tim LaHaye
who wrote a forward to the imaginative and inspired work.

homosexuality - Jesus said that when HE returns it will be like the
days of Lot ( Luke 17:30 ). The days of Lot are here - look up - your

violence - Jesus also said that it would be like the days of Noah when
HE returns. ( Matthew 24:37 ) The days of Noah were

Earth's population - The number of people who will survive the tribulation
is one-half of the planet's population immediately
following the rapture.( Revelation 6:8 & 9:15 )
The inverse is also true, one-half of the billions of people living on earth immediately
following the rapture will meet a tragic and gruesome death during the tribulation.
How many will be allowed to enter into the millennial dispensation is unknown - there will
be a judgement by JESUS at the end of the tribulation.He will separate the sheep from
the goats. Only His sheep ( He is The Good,Great and Chief SHEPHERD ) will be
allowed to enter into the 1000 years on earth with HIM. ( Matthew 25:31ff. )
The number of Christians raptured are,of course, not included in the numbers
of flesh and blood people who will begin the millennium reign of JESUS.
We ( the raptured and glorified saints ) will have a wonderfully special role in
the Millenium Kingdom.
There will be multitudes of tribulation murdered martyrs - people who will refuse to
serve the beast and choose to follow JESUS. These will also have a wonderfully special
role and place in God's forever and perfect Kingdom. Martyrs have a special reward -
the crown of life ( Revelation 2:10 and James 1:12 ).
The crown of life will be similar to this crown imagined by HooRay:
For purposes of this novella NuRay,Maria,McNine,et al. were judged by JESUS at HIS
Matthew 25:31 throne. They were considered sheep gallanteers and allowed to
enter into the KINGDOM so often spoken of by us when we recite Matthew 6:10:
"your KINGDOM come, your will be done on earth as it is in HEAVEN."

Now the number of the army of horsemen was 200,000,000...

Millennium -The 1000 years of peace on earth.With the binding of satan
and the complete abolishment of his systems - the earth will enjoy a period
of edenic like conditions. No more carnivores. No blizzards,floods,heat waves or
fear of the elements. The cursed ground will never enslave mankind again.
The soil will be revitalized - the hydrosphere will be perfected.
Weeds and poisonous plants eliminated. The snow leopard and
the sahara sidewinder will enjoy a climate without freezing or scorching.
The politics of planet earth will be simplified - Jesus will rule in justice,
righteousness and lovingkindness.
